obhassell Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I'm going to be going to the U of A (Arizona) soon and I can't decide on a major yet and I was hoping for a little insight. My two choices are Physiology or Physics. I took both classes and LOVED both of them. Physiology came to be much more naturally (it seemed to be incredibly easier to me) I finished number one in my class and I was so interested in it I decided I wanted to be a doctor. IN physics I really liked that I could change the variables int the equations and be creative and explore the theories and stuff, but it didn't come to me as easy. At the U of A, there is a Physiology Major, but unfortunately, Physiology majors don't get accepted to med schools as much as physics majors do so I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight into this matter... Physics or Physiology...I like both, I can major in either, but Physiology doesn't have as high of an acceptance rate. thanks
iNow Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Have you considered something that merges the two, maybe like biophysics? Here's a link that seems to have a decent explanation of the field and options: http://www.biophysics.org/tabid/517/Default.aspx
