butterfly
Help with this question would be greatly appreciated, i just cant seem to get the answer, estimate the percentage of empty space in gaseous argon, given that the radis of an argon aton is 192pm (1.92x10-10m)
YT2095
Impossible to determine given the parameters of your question, sorry it would need to state at what pressure and temp at least, as well as percentage of argon pressent in that volume of gas. if you mean the "empty space" on a Nuclear level (as I assume that`s why you gave the radius) then you`de need to caclulate the volume occupied by the electrons, protons and neutrons to give you a total value and then subtract that from the volume occupied by the radius you provided to make it into a sphere 2 Pi R^2 should help I think, but don`t quote me on that bit, my maths is somewhat wanting in certain respects
Crash
You mean spaces between atoms? the amount of empty space at room temp std pressure?
