confusedchemy Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 where can I find what [Ag(NH3)]2SO4, [Cu(NH3)2]2SO4, and [Ni(NH3)2]2SO4 are used in? I've read a line that they can be used in explosives, but I have not had much success in finding anything else. Ive just been doing the search on google and yahoo, is there a better place to search? Or do you know of reactions I could read on to find out? Thank you for reading, hope you can help.
hermanntrude Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 it might be better to figure out their name in words and use THAT for a search...
Mr Skeptic Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 They all look like explosives to me, but you already knew that. I can't think of anything else that they all might be used for. I think you are overdoing your homework (good for you!).
RAJESHKUMAR110 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Can anyone tell which acid is laughing gas ?
hermanntrude Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 rajesh, that's not the topic of this thread. Please don't hijack other people's threads
RAJESHKUMAR110 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I have recently registered , i am not able to understand the threads.
hermanntrude Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 a thread is a particular topic, or subject. For instance, if you wanted to ask "what is laughing gas?" the best way to ask would be to go to the "general chemistry" forum and make a new thread with that title. Asking it in someone else's thread is considered bad manners.
