entwined Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I ran accross this on another forum I frequent. It was someone's avatar. Got me to thinking, with genetic engineering, maybe we could have this as an option.....might come in handy for those small jobs.
YT2095 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 but saying "High 30" doesn`t quite have the same ring to it.
Phi for All Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Keyboards and cell phones would be smaller and less expensive, but gloves would cost a fortune.
npts2020 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Wow! A fractal hand. No longer a need for laser tweezers, you could just pick up atoms with your fingers.
Phi for All Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Decision-making would take so long no one would ever get anything done. We'd all be standing around saying, "One one hand, it would be good to...."
DrP Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Keyboards and cell phones would be smaller and less expensive, Think of how easy it would be to do a JS Bach organ recital though! Or how good you could get on the guitar.... Great!
iNow Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Wow! A fractal hand. Yeah, my first thought went to Mandelbrot, too.
Sayonara Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 They're coming to get you Barbara! http://www.pbase.com/badpigg/image/12311446 http://www.myconciergevancouver.com/ http://images.usefulzero.com/s/hand-fingers/ Seems like these hands have not been idle; they're everywhere. Also it appears that someone has already closed the gap in the glove market:
