falcon9393 Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 (edited) So i had to read two peotry books for advanced literature and i read Jorge Luis Borges, which are your classic cosmoplolitian poetry which is always nice but rather boring, then i read a book by Charles Bukowski called The last Night of the Earth poems, which was so funny, it is basically a literary genre called dirty realism (google it if you get a chance) overall i enjoyed reading it and want to sort of get other people started on it, so enjoy! Here is a sample warning: bad language by the way! 8 count from my bed I watch 3 birds on a telephone wire. one flies off. then another. one is left, then it too is gone. my typewriter is tombstone still. and I am reduced to bird watching. just thought I'd let you know, f*cker. for more visit: http://www.poemhunter.com/charles-bukowski/ Edited December 9, 2008 by falcon9393
