Gilded Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I'm afraid that falls within the realm of philosophy. Feel free to discuss "How?" though.
Phi for All Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Really. Why?No reason. Seriously, try this answer out for all why-type questions. It works.
npts2020 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 No reason. Seriously, try this answer out for all why-type questions. It works. Or you could take the parents' line......'cause I said so.
Phi for All Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Or you could take the parents' line......'cause I said so.That's what Snail said in post #4, and he's not a parent, apparently. But "No reason" works for, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" as well as, "Why did George Bush get elected twice?" The difference is in whether you shrug your shoulders or tap your skull when saying, "No reason".
aguy2 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Really. Why? I have been contending that the large scale meaning and purpose of reality is what I have been calling either "Self-Creation" or, of late, "Self-Engenderment". With "Self-Engenderment" being defined as, "giving rise to itself without assistance". see http://www.self-engenderment.com aguy2
JohnB Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Really. Why? Can't answer until you tell me who and when.
