I just got a brand new telescope, a Bushnell North Star GOTO 78-8846 114MM Reflector, and it does EVERYTHING but take pictures. I was wondering if you can buy lenses that take pictures or if that is only included with the telescope. If so then how much and where of course.

Basically, it involves hooking up a mount so you can put an ordinary digital camera on the telescope. With fancier digital cameras you can even take long exposures (say, twenty or thirty seconds) to get better low-light photographs.

If you want to take pictures with your new telescope you could use a regular camera (as previously stated) or you could use the Deep sky imager III orII these cameras mount onto the eyepiece of your telescope and are specifically designed for space photography. they are sold by meade and they cost $399-$799:D
