what is a quantum string magic?

i know it's somehow tied into the strings theory, but if anybody can elaborate on it, that would be great. also, one of the maths that i was able to skip thus far is calculus(i'll need to take it sometime in the near future) but for now, if you guys can keep the calculus terminology either to a minimum or better yet null, it would be even better.

The fact it turned up so few results on google implies to me that it's probably not a widely accepted theory or it's known more commonly under another name.
