But it said to "spread" the love, so I rep'd someone else for a job well done. And then I went back to rep someone who helped me, and I couldn't rep that person again... Hmm... circle jerk? People within a community patting each other in a back. I suspect it's a critique on the communistic efforts here.

I think it's so a couple of friends can't rep just each other to build up false reputations. It's an honor system with some limitations.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Yeah, the idea is to prevent people from repping each other back and forth until they have huge amounts of rep. I think you only need to rep two other people before going back to the same person though.
