morganparkar Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Hi, There are several ways. A natural fog (cloud or ground fog) is formed by condensation of vapor as the temperature drops below the dew point. A thermal fogger heats an oil-based liquid so it can condense in ambient air. Small droplets can also be created by pumping liquid through a small orifice; by slinging liquid from a spinning disk; by ultrasonic excitation; and by turbulent zone atomization. Foggers use a high turbulence vortex air nozzle to atomize liquid into tiny droplets.
