SergUpstart Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 Biden got rid of the button for calling a waiter with a Coca-Cola, which was installed by Trump (Letters)
J.C.MacSwell Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 I guess Bernie memes are a big hit after the inauguration. Gotta love the gloves:
Janus Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 (edited) My contribution to the meme: "I'm still cold!" P.S. This was the only good picture of a sauna that I could find that would work. It is a bit fancy compared to the ones I grew up frequenting, which were a bit more "rustic". They more closely resembled this: This image is pixelated because it is from a Youtube video and the original was not well lit. This is the best result I could get in lightening it up. This particular Sauna is also a bit on the small size, as it is one for a summer cabin. Just imagine it a bit wider and deeper, with a two tier bench rather than the single bench, and you'd have a pretty good idea of what I was used to. Edited January 23, 2021 by Janus 1
Janus Posted January 23, 2021 Posted January 23, 2021 (edited) Keeping with the Star Trek theme: And it wouldn't be complete without an A Weekend at Bernie's reference: Edited January 23, 2021 by Janus 1
Janus Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 Or how about "Bernie at 20,000 ft" ( This one was suggested by my Wife) 2
J.C.MacSwell Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 We need one "20,000 mittens under the sea"
John Cuthber Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 It's remarkable. We quite often get memes about Republicans doing really stupid things. When an elderly man who is a Democrat does something eminently sensible- wearing gloves in cold weather- the internet explodes.
MigL Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Then why do you keep comparing them ? ( sorry, couldn't resist that ) Interesting that none of you Americans can wear masks. AOC isn't wearing one, and MTG isn't wearing it properly. ( also, what's with the presumptuous 3 initials )

John Cuthber Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 I didn't know they were making printed masks in 2017.

While I never saw her be anything but nice to the many black people she worked with, when telling a story about this person or that, you always knew the race of the person. "Some guy at the gas station" meant they were white. Otherwise she would have said "Some black guy at the gas station". Edited February 4, 2021 by zapatos

Janus Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 14 hours ago, iNow said: On the same topic: A reporter in a recent press conference asked whether Biden would hang a portrait of Trump in the White House ( something Trump refused to do for Obama) and along the same lines would he be inviting Obama to ceremony to finally hang his portrait. The answer was that no portraits hangings had been scheduled yet. But it struck me as a bit of a silly question. With everything on his plate right now, I doubt that Biden is giving much thought (or should be) to such purely ceremonial things.
