I. Mach Projectile Solver

 

Find the source and destination of a supersonic projectile using 3 microphones.

 

The projectile sweeps out a shock wave in the shape of a cone and intercepts the microphones. From the arrival time differences between the microphones, the solution is found.

I've moved this post to Homework, since it sure seems like a Homework problem.

 

And, as such, the forum doesn't do people's homework for them. We will help you with concepts, we will help point out mistakes when we see them, we will help guide in the right direction and give suggestions. But, we don't just post answers and do the work for others.
