CharonY Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 If you are using Firefox, there are a number of plugins that enable you to download them, I think.

NeonBlack Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 One time I found something on download.com that did this. It was called youtube video downloader or something like that. You just had to paste in the url of the video and it downloaded and saved the video for you.
Severian Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 If you use firefox, this is the best option: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2390 Alternatively, you could just check google: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=5UL&q=+download+videos+from+youtube&btnG=Search&meta=
Bettina Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I use this and it's worked fine for me on IE7 and IE8. http://clipnabber.com/ Bee
cameron marical Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 you can just go look up realplayer.com. download real player, you can then download any video you want on the internet. its awsome. it works for me too. if it says that you need divx files, just download those too, itll bring you to there website, just click download. i didnt get any viruses either.
Fedace Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 ^^I am not sure how i can record videos from Real player. I have one and i use it. It won't let me record or download files. and also is there a way to download in HD form ??
swansont Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Some options listed here http://blog.sciencegeekgirl.com/2009/02/03/downloading-videos-from-youtube-for-schools-with-blocked-internet-access/ I've used KeepVid
YT2095 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I use firefoxes "Download helper", however, before this I used to use to pull it directly off my HDD once the file has completely loaded, I don`t rem the exact pathway, but if you load a clip off youtube, and then do a search on you`r HDD for the Latest Modified (search parameters within the last hour) then look for the approximate time-stamp, if the file looks like a load of <random letters and numbers.FLV>, that`s the one! (some still use the SWF suffix) make a Shortcut to Desktop to this area where these temp files are stored, and as soon as they fully download move them to another area on the HDD because they Do time-out and delete themselves! then you`ll need a suitable player, I use VLC media player personally.
Shadow Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Download+youtube+videos&l=1 Note, this will download the videos in .flv, to convert to another format, use a converter. Personally I recommend SUPER.
