[math]e^{a+b} = e^a \cdot e^b[/math] for a start. Furthermore, [math] e^{i\alpha} = \cos \alpha + i \sin \alpha [/math].

complex algebra.. argand diagram...complex trigonometry will cover it pretty much for ya.

 

oh and a^x * a^y = a^(x+y) is just algebra from age 13 or 14 or something. :)

Thanks, probably not going to take complex or abstract algebra until I'm in college.
