Skye Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 That's actually there pee. Sort of. Birds excrete excess nitrogen as uric acid, which is less soluble in water than the urea in urine which we excrete. That's why it's much more solid.
YT2095 Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 and also alot of calcium, hence it`s often called "lime", some of it later goes into producing shells for eggs (the calcium that is). I can only assume that the green stuff that`s often in it is some sort of greenery and bile that didn`t digest?
