Hello,

I'm taking orgo II at the moment and I'm looking for someone to study with.

The basic technique I've found works is to have each person ask questions of the other, back and forth.

I'm in the USA and I can talk using Skype or Google Talk.

Thanks.

What level of study is 'orgo II'? I've be interested in corresponding with you when I've got the time, though given that I'm in the UK I may not be your best bet.

Hi,

At my college organic is in 2 courses. In the first course we dealt with alkanes/alkenes/alkynes, functional groups, SN1/2 E1/2 reactions etc.

In the second course we've dealt so far with unknown identification by IR, MS, UV, and NMR, conjugated dienes, benzene rings & other aromatics, and reactions involving alcohols/phenols/ethers.

Does this sound familiar? If so & you want to chat then you (or others) can reach me directly at zck808@yahoo.com I think I can accommodate the time difference with the UK, it's only 4 hours.

Thanks,

Zack

Hi Zack

I'm not sure I'm the right person for this - the course you described sounds roughly the equivalent of the UK A level, which I took about three years ago. You'd be much better off with someone working at the same level as you. That said, I'd be happy to help you out with questions or problems if you post them up here or email them to me.

Sorry bout that.
