samtheflash82 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Can somebody explain to me how kinetic energy can be calculated in an electrical field? Is the kinetic energy that of the charged particles in a current? What are the particles?
swansont Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Need more detail. A charge will feel a force of qE, and gain an energy of qEd (ignoring the energy it would radiate)
