poiu Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 The classification of brainwaves seem mixed up as the greek letters don't seem to progress with the frequency, or do i miss something? Beta is highest, then alpha, then theta etc. Why is this? Thanks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwaves
GDG Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Alpha waves were the first to be discovered. I suspect that the remaining waves were named in order of their discovery.
