Guest ANGELSP Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 Hello , the other day I discover a graphic technique very useful to solve math problems ... It has got foundations of different branches of the knowledge ... There are a few examples of how to solve math problems ahh the technique is "Mind Graph" Best Regards Angel S.P.
Dave Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 That's just integration by parts, and your website appears to be broken - and indeed it has some rather funny JavaScript in it which I'm not entirely sure about.
Guest ANGELSP Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 Hello Dave: The link works correctly in internet explorer This link provides a lot of information: In the main page I explain the principal uses , the science foundations , the composition , the operations and the objectives of this conceptual system. In "themes section" and "examples section" there are more examples of how to use this conceptual system. Yes, it is an example of how to solve an indefinite integral in a graphical form (mind graph method) and with mathematical form. Mind Graph is a conceptual system with the purpose of that you solve your problems by hand Mind Graph is not an automated system for problem solving, it is a graphic language to solve problems; not a language like java or c# or html , it is a language like english or spanish but for problem solving. The first thing that you should know is that you begins putting the topic on the center of the paper The center can be a word, a drawing, a sentence, etc You can developing that central topic with the help of questions (arrows) The growth of the drawing is from the center to the periphery It has 3 elements: the boxes, the arrows and the extensions lines The extensions lines and the boxes are very similar semantically The boxes are to store the information The arrows are to extract information (like a function) Best regards Angel S.P.
NSX Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Sorry, but I can't read your writing [or pictures? The images that you posted in your first post.] I find it too messy. His site does indeed work with IE [well, i used IE2, but close 'nuff]. Though reading your site over [talking to you Angel], I don't see what's the advantages of your mind-graph technique over traditional methods [or even, what is the thought process of your mind-graph technique]. I was a bit worried by the weirdness loaded by my firefox too... hehe: El explorador no admite los marcos flotantes o no está configurado actualmente para mostrarlos
Dave Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 I didn't see all the images before, they didn't load up for some reason. However I'm a little confused with your method.
Guest ANGELSP Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Hello NSX : There are five advantages of Mind Graph: not premature organization , it increases capacity of synthesis and analysis, it helps to memory, it helps to understanding and it helps to creativity. Yes , I come from Madrid (in Spain) if you want yo can see more examples in www.mind-graph.net Best regards Angel S.P.
Guest ANGELSP Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Hello Dave: If you want you can see the web page , it has got more examples. If you are a little confused with the method then you can answer the question that you want to do. I can say to you that Mind Graph is a good method for problem solving. Best regards Angel S.P.
