DeoxyriboNucleicAcid Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 I have grew some huge, but EXTREMELY FRAGILE crystals of baking soda (Sodium bicarbinate). What are some easy methods that I can use to preserve these substences. Any ideas will be appreciated, to help my fragile beuties.

Crash Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 Well i dont really know any methods of changing bicarbonates into something more solid and strong the only thing i can think of is to coat them in say a glue (spray on) and do several layers untill the desired coat stregth is found, probably use a ceramic sort of glue....this process will take some time
