Mr. Peabody Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 What is the difference between studying "organic chemistry" and "advanced organic chemistry"? Should one have a pre-requisite knowledge in "organic chemistry" before studying "advanced organic chemistry"?
ajb Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 The word "advanced" is very subjective. I expect who ever is teaching the advanced course will have in mind that the students have studied organic chemistry before. However, what one person thinks belongs in an advanced class or elementary class will depend on the individual.
CaptainPanic Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Most likely you need to take "organic chemistry" before "advanced organic chemistry".
