what idiots say it didn't happen?

Mel Gibson and his father. And others. They deny that it ever happened. I think it may be their sect of the Catholic church.

I think even to discuss whether or not the Holocaust happened is already to lose one's humanity. If people really do want to discuss it though, I don't think there's any difficulty in showing that it happened, and that millions of random people were killed off.

Why don't we discuss people who deny the American Holocaust? That would be much more interesting. To start, I'll throw out this passage from the introduction of the definitive text on US foreign policy since WWII:

"In 1993, I came across a review of a book about people who deny that the Nazi Holocaust actually occurred. I wrote to the author, a university professor, telling her that her book made me wonder whether she knew that an American holocaust had taken place, and that the denial of it put the denial of the Nazi one to shame. So great and deep is the denial of the American holocaust, I said, that the denyers are not even aware that the claimers or their claim exist. Yet, a few million people have died in the American holocaust and many more millions have been condemned to lives of misery and torture as a result of US interventions extending from China and Greece in the 1940s to Afghanistan and Iraq in the 1990s. I enclosed a listing of these interventions, which is of course the subject of the present book.

In my letter I also offered to exchange a copy of the earlier edition of my book for a copy of hers, but she wrote back informing me that she was not in a position to do so. And that was all she said. She didn't ask to see my book. She made no comment whatsoever about the remainder of my letter -- the part dealing with denying the American holocaust -- not even to acknowledge that I had raised the matter. The irony of a scholar on the subject of denying the Nazi Holocaust engaging in such denial about the American holocaust was classic indeed. I was puzzled why the good professor had bothered to respond at all...."

re: eugenics, the latest book by Edwin Black (author of IBM & the Holocaust) says that eugenics didn't start in Nazi Germany, but in the USA at the end of the 1800s. Check it out:

Creepy, I've never heard about that before. It sounds a bit like what the Australian did to the Aboriginals. Where they took all the ones with lighter skin into camps and made them conform to their culture and get white spouses so their children would have even lighter skin. It was all an attempt to get rid of Aboriginal culture. Of course the way the Americans treated the Aboriginal Americans was awful too.

You mean Mel Gibsons 84 year old loony father. Mr Gibson has not said anything about the subject.

I doubt he really does deny it. Just as I doubt he thinks the World Trade Center was blown up via remote control.

That's not new information. The Americans were very open about the sterilisation programmes, even proud of them. The Germans actually used the same methods at the outset, based on the American works. All of it was based on a English theory, so nobody is without blame here.

Then read that. Maybe Mel doesn't deny, but his father certainly does. Mel still has numerous issues of his own. (Though, he has said his father taught him everything he knows.)

Yes, eugenics did not originate in Mexico. I don't really care where you are from, it makes not iota of difference if we are discussing American implementation of Eugenics, now does it?

If your wanting to distance Mexico from Eugenics, you will problems doing so. Mexico did indeed have a Eugenics programme.

well' date=' i am perfeclty sure that the nazis gas killed people, but plenty countries has, what i mean is that is not possible to kill people that does not exist (6 millions of jews), further more to have PLENTY lots of jews who magically scaped etc etc etc... so... we are talking about more than 6 millions of jews in those times in that area.....

give me a break.[/quote']

What in the hell are you talking about?

Are you saying that back in 1930's and 1940's, it is inconceivable to imagine more than 6 or 10 or 20 million people(in this case Jews) to live in Europe?

Here are some charts you might want to see.

http://research.biology.arizona.edu/mosquito/willott/323/project/population/Worldpopmaps.html

Also, you do realize that before the Final Solution arose, German and Austrian-Hungarian Jews were given an opportunity to leave the Fatherland. Many couldn't afford a passage, many returned, many hoped for the best and stayed in, etc.

Also, do you realize that not all Jews killed in camps were of German origin? Many were shipped there from various other European countries under German Occupation.

By the way, what is "ECUATION" ?

Is that a typo of Acuation or something?

hitler offered to let jews, gypsies, homosexuals, etc run away, but he realized that they went only as far as germany's borders and hitler had a few continents to conquer, so he just killed them instead of constantly asking them to move.

I did consider that, but it still didn't make as much sense as the "typo of education" theory.

Reading it all again (twice) I think he meant to say that Mexico could not be considered part of the "all" that atinymonkey mentioned.

Yes, sayonara that what i meant.

You all got to excuse me but speaking a little more than 3 languajes makes you commit some mistakes.

(little more, i mean french word, russian words, portuguesse words, latin, etc... but in a minimal bit)
