swaha Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 i am a 1st yr undergraduate student in physics honours. have interests in fields like relativity, quantum, cosmology physics. want to know about research oportunities for me in pg courses. any expert ideas will be appreciated. thank you.
Genecks Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 If it's your first semester, then you should focus more on getting use to the school and the resources rather than quickly pursuing research. That my opinion.
swansont Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Professors will probably want you to have taken classes in the areas where you are doing research. Generally undergraduate research opportunities are for upperclassmen.
ferrywayes Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hello As you wrote you are studying in first years, If you want to make or want to work on some project relevant to relativity, quantum, cosmology physics. Then First of all get deeply Knowledge about it. I think you have some knowledge of it but i am sure not all,
Ranjha Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Hahaha ambition is always good. But knowledge is a good limit for the function of ambition. It's all math.. F(ambition)=sum of Knowledge, experience and dedication. Good thing is this equation is linear which means you get to add all the parts and actually make something out of it that's useful at the right TIME.
