Well,

I think with Melatonin, Seratonin, and hGH.

the body actually recovers itself.

It seems to me that over a period of sleep that your body does 'heal'

(in a sense.)

Ahahaha So in other words rather than having time heal all things,

Sleep does!

The best medicine might be sleep after all.

But then again,

With all these things going on what about specific parts of your body?

I mean does your brain only store information while asleep?

What about during the day...

There should be a way to relax the brain while awake in order to activate the storage.

Then we could have a more efficient society (:

Your brain itself is an ever changing complex web of neurons, and it does not (in the sense of a DVR or VCR record or) store information. It is reorganizing itself always, not just while asleep. Sleep may be a more intense period of reorganization, but it is NOT the only period of reorganization.

Sounds like you are talking about meditation.

- Hmmm I guess, I meant I know that it's active, but I figure it to be like a temporary file until you go to sleep and it's backed up.

- Yeah, but you can't really be active during meditation...

(if you take my meaning.)

Too bad I can't do the nap thing. It's either a good night's sleep or nothing for me. The headache after a "nice" nap is just not worth it.
