dr.syntax Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 because they feel like it for some reason such as: it`s useless, or they decide it is off subject ? I have never been accused of breaking any rule or being offensive. This person just informed me he is going to start deleting my messages if they don`t measure up in his opinion. Is this allowed ? iNow Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 If s/he is on the staff, then yes. That is what s/he is here to do. They moderate the boards. Regular members cannot delete posts, but a mod can when they are unrelated to the topic.
insane_alien Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 can you point(post a link) us to the post where this was indicated?
iNow Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 http://www.scienceforums.net/forum/showthread.php?p=511448#post511448 This off-topic, totally irrelevant, often wrong posting has become somewhat of a trend with this threads creator.
insane_alien Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 ah, soyou made posts that were completely irrelevant to the discussion at hand. this is against the guidlines you agreed to when you registered so they are within their rights to delete or move the offending posts. that was your warning that you had breached forum policy.
Klaynos Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 That would be a comment from a moderator warning you about curbing your behaviour to fall within the forum rules.
