nahiyan Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I have been wondering what does happen in the bermuda triangle is it some sort of extra gravity or any tornado and if there is a tornado what is causing it.please people give me your suggestions on what could happen there
insane_alien Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 nothing special. there are no more disappearences of ships and aircraft in the bermuda triangle than there are in any other part of the world.
nahiyan Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 ohhh thanks for the information i thought there had been many ships disappearing in the bermuda triangle
insane_alien Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 well, there have been a few unexplained disappearences but the same is true of anywhere. mostly it was just that disappearences in this area gained media attention in the 50's for some reason and it quickly developed into an urban legend. before the 50's it was unheard of as it was unremarkable.
D H Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 ohhh thanks for the information i thought there had been many ships disappearing in the bermuda triangle "Many" ships disappear in the Bermuda triangle for a very simple reason: Many, many ships go through it. The key question is not the number of ships that disappear, but rather, the percentage of ships that disappear there. In that light there is nothing there. The shipping insurance industry knows what waters are abnormally dangerous and charge premiums for ships that sail through such waters. You want to sail a ship through the Gulf of Aden? Be prepared to pay a piracy premium. Near Antarctica? There's an emergency evacuation premium for that. The premium charge for sailing through the Bermuda triangle: nothing.
