Can someone please tell me what the requirements are to be allowed to post in the politics forum? A subject near and dear to my lil heart is being discussed and I'd like to know if there's any hope of being able to participate before it peters out.

There is a postcount minimum.

I think minimum post count of 50, but if you PM an Admin like Cap'n Refsmmat they can give you access.

At some point today vBulletin should automatically add you to the usergroup to let you participate in Politics. The requirements are 10 days of registration (today is your tenth day), 10 reputation points (everyone starts with ten), and 30 posts (which you have). We lowered the requirement from 50 because there were so many people asking for access, actually.

 

No point in waiting, of course, so I just added you in to the politics group anyway. It would have kicked in at some point today regardless.
