Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 That's what I want to know! Maybe they're friends of Blike.
YT2095 Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 VIP`s not actualy used as far as I know. it was set up and tested with a bogus or clone account, and never used again I could be wrong, but even looking from "Inside" the hidden bits, that seems to be the case, Never really used
jordan Posted June 29, 2004 Author Posted June 29, 2004 That's what sparked the question Cap'n. So YT, here is the forum leaders list with the four VIP's at the bottom.
Sayonara Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 VIP have access to staff areas, but not staff permissions.
YT2095 Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 well well well... that`s news to me, I guess that`s what you get for being a good 6 month out of date seriously, last time I looked it had one of Blikes test accounts in there, not to worry tho`, ya learn something new everyday )
Dave Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I think the original intention was to have the VIP group for visiting professors and the like. (P.S: can we tone the green down a bit? bright green against blue = unreadable)
jordan Posted June 29, 2004 Author Posted June 29, 2004 So they can go read the mod forums and such but can't actualy reply? And how were the four VIP's chosen?
Sayonara Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 June 29, 2004: 648 posts. You're best asking Blike about VIPs.
jordan Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 Wow. 648. I didn't really want to know about yesterday, though. There wasn't anything good posted. But today's another day.
Dave Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 No, it was mainly about avatars My Calculus thread is coming up later, I have to finish off some rather important programming work first though.
jordan Posted July 9, 2004 Author Posted July 9, 2004 I hate to ask because there was very little good posted yesterday, just a lot of playing around with the bubble tags, but what'd we manage to get?
Martin Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 I hate to ask because there was very little good posted yesterday, just a lot of playing around with the bubble tags, but what'd we manage to get? let's see if my figure of 405 matches the official one I saw total posts increase 405 from 63,195 to 63,600 yesterday which is the most I can report firsthand since I wasnt watching on 29 June when officially the count was 648.
jordan Posted July 9, 2004 Author Posted July 9, 2004 Don't you think the fact that it's officialy logged and reported by Sayo means you don't have to witness it firsthand for it to count?
Martin Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 of course I would be delighted if SFN had an official box somewhere showing most users ever online most members ever online most posts per day ever but it doesnt-----I didnt see Sayonara saying that the most he'd ever seen per day was the 648 on 29 June----and the most users ever box doesnt work until and if SFN has some kind of automatic gizmo then I want to use my own eyes and keep track----my personal numbers are necessarily lower because I probably miss some peak use periods. Maybe i will edit the sig to make that especially obvious when and if SFN has a keeper-tracker gizmo, I will use my sig space for something else or just have it blank
admiral_ju00 Posted July 9, 2004 Posted July 9, 2004 So is that it for Fafalone? I didn't see him anywhere on that list nor on the website for a while now(since he lost the admin position).......
jordan Posted July 9, 2004 Author Posted July 9, 2004 until and if SFN has some kind of automatic gizmo then I wantto use my own eyes and keep track It does, just not accesable to you right now. So is that it for Fafalone? I didn't see him anywhere on that list nor on the website for a while now(since he lost the admin position)....... I've seen him around here and there, and his profile says he was last online on the 7th.
