Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Yes.... I agree. But Homer Simpson is not a good person for science...
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 If it's funny or clever' date=' and goes somewhere, it's ok. You [i']know[/i] what spamming basically is: posting for the sake of posting. Hmmm... maybe I could start an argument between all of the bubble characters. In other words, what should I do with it?
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 SFN now officially has something no other forum has
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Wooohoo! All right, lets start a list of what people we'd like to be in the bubble thing, so it can be better AND used legitimately in science threads. 1. Charles Darwin 2. Albert Einstein 3. Steven Hawking that's all the major scientists I can think of right now, now for "other" people... 1. Bugs Bunny 2. Yosemety Sam (preferably with guns drawn) 3. Captain Kirk 4. Joseph Stalin 5. President Bush and so on... Hold it! Got an idea... perhaps, if we get loads of these, you could make something like the smiley panel except with a list of all the bubbles. Then it would be REALLY good.
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 Got an idea... perhaps' date=' if we get loads of these, you could make something like the smiley panel except with a list of all the bubbles. Then it would be REALLY good.[/quote'] I'm way ahead of you chumps.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Good old Sayo... ...except I don't see one yet, but I suppose he's working on it.
bloodhound Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 oh my god. ur forgot Isaac Newton. also would like Dr. Zoidberg from futurama. Peter from Family guy

Martin Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Cap'n this has amazing possibilities. do you know the current list which Sayonara has made available? I can think of bender cartman hitler homer jesus zim do you know of others?
bloodhound Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Love thy neighbor, dudes. Sieg Heilige Nacht! Sieg Heilige Nacht! just testing Love thy neighbor. Sieg Heilige Nacht! Sieg Heilige Nacht! testing once more
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Probably lots more so far... that's why I think he should make a bubble panel so we can see all of them. No others that I can think of besides Doctor Z or whatever he's called.
bloodhound Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 u can see that the speech bubble isnt aligned to the picture of hitler. SAYO fix it!!!
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Wow.... you can nest them? I don't think you should be able to.
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 u can see that the speech bubble isnt aligned to the picture of hitler. SAYO fix it!!! It's either the tail beneath the middle axis, or speech bubbles with a minimum height the same as the height of the picture. See if I can bypass the mainframe, hotwire the server and hack the crumpets...
Martin Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I believe it was homer who said (when confronted with some basic maths problem or the like) [speaking to his brain] "Face it, brain, I don't like you and you don't like me. Let's get through this, so I can continue killing you with beer." Let's get through this so I cancontinue killing you with beer.
bloodhound Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I also seem to get distorted speech bubbles sometimes
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 It's either the tail beneath the middle axis' date=' or speech bubbles with a minimum height the same as the height of the picture. See if I can bypass the mainframe, hotwire the server and hack the crumpets...[/quote'] That sounds complicated.
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 [math]\frac{x^a}{ax^n}*\frac{{a^{-1}}{x^{-n}}}{{a^{-1}}{x^{-n}}}[/math] [math]\frac{{x^a}{a^{-1}}{x^{-n}}}{1}[/math] [math]a^{-1}x^{2a-2n}[/math]
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 ^ woah! I also seem to get distorted speech bubbles sometimes Refreshing fixes it.
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 I also seem to get distorted speech bubbles sometimes What browser? Tail height fixed
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Tail height fixed We need this as another one, for situations like these:
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 lol You all probably noticed already but I added "bender" and "zoidberg" to the list of characters.
bloodhound Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 i am sure we can find a better animation for the up and coming [applause] [/applause] tag
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 Good old Sayo......except I don't see one yet' date=' but I suppose he's working on it.[/quote'] I meant I had already thought of it. It'll have to wait until tomorrow though... zzzzzz
