Dave Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 For the fans out there amongst you (of which I most certainly am one), the supposed title is behind the door that used to read "don't disturb" on J.K. Rowling's website. I won't tell you much more than that, but the name of the new book is behind it, and in the spoiler below: [hide]Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince[/hide] Personally, I think it sucks.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 [hide]Couldn't it be something like "The 2/4ths Lymph Duke"?[/hide] [hide]Maybe not[/hide]
bloodhound Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 well, at least its not as controversial as [hide] Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Abu Gharib [/hide]
Dave Posted June 29, 2004 Author Posted June 29, 2004 methinks you didn't get the spolier worked out Use [hide]
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Good thing we use them... I was worried I'd never have to use spoilers.
Dave Posted June 29, 2004 Author Posted June 29, 2004 I think the colour of the spoiler should be a blue instead of a green personally, perhaps the same colour as the post background.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Instead of green? Are you saying it's green? They look black to me.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 You mean the actual spoiler thingy that looks like a bar? That looks black to me. But everything looks different to me, like the size of your avatars and such.
Dave Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 From the source: color:#333; background-color:#333; #000 is back. #333 is a dark grey.
Dave Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 Having done web design for some time, I've learnt to distinguish between black and dark colours to some extent
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 But to me, it's BLACK!!! This is like the differing avatar size limits we saw. Maybe one of us is hallucinating.
Sayonara Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 I specifically chose #333 because it's a dark grey, but not black.
JaKiri Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 This is like the differing avatar size limits we saw. Not really, there's probably differing allowed sizes for mods.
Dave Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 Some users have that avatar size as well. Must be some quirky function in vB or something.
bloodhound Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 what about [hide] Harry Potter and Hermaoine go at it - Hardcore Explicit Vol III [/hide]
JaKiri Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Some users have that avatar size as well. Must be some quirky function in vB or something. It's the 'special' users tag.
Dave Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 what about [hide] Harry Potter and Hermaoine go at it - Hardcore Explicit Vol III [/hide] Highly doubt they're going to use that, especially since you spelt Hermione wrong
