bloodhound Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 I just downloaded the whole of the cowboy bebop soundtrack cds (8 of them it says, but can count only 7) by bit torrent. its mostly swing jazz blues stuff. really liked the series and love the music as well. currently downloading the soundtrack to Hellsing as well. ithink its mostly smooth and modern jazz. woooo. can anyone recoommend me any good Anime along the lines of cowboy bebop??
JaKiri Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Bebop is in a league of its own, but Trigun has a similar sort of theme going down hipstyle.

jordan Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 One I just found today in a pile of music and started to play through was Liszt's Rhapsodie Hongroise #2. One of my altime favorites...so far. I've played through the first movement a few times and just skimmed through movement #2. Haven't touched #3 yet. But the first two are great. That is, if you like solo classical piano music. Just thought I'd add it to the list.
Dave Posted July 2, 2004 Author Posted July 2, 2004 Oh, one of my own personal recommendations is, for anyone that likes trombone music (I'm biased, I play trombone), get Morceau Symphonique by Guilmant. It's a rocker towards the end (and, might I add, a git to play).
Dave Posted July 2, 2004 Author Posted July 2, 2004 If you mean "where did I download it from", I got it off of DC++, but that's just me. If you mean "where did I get the title from", it was one of my Grade 8 (and also a diploma) pieces.
jordan Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 I was looking for the first answer. I'm trying to find something very cheap to get some obscure peices (like the one I mentioned) but haven't found (or looked) a whole lot yet.
Freeman Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Try some of Verdi's pieces, or requiems (by mozart, or verdi or Brahms), or opera. You can get some music free on google, i think
Sayonara Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Hypothetically, if one were the sort of person who uses torrents, one would find this very appealling: http://www.torrentreactor.net/torrents/view_13890
