Marconis Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 My school automatically puts all entering freshman biology majors down for a BA. What exactly are the differences in the two degrees? If I decide I want to graduate with a BS, when should I switch over?
NeonBlack Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Depends on your university. Most of the time if you switch do a BS instead of a BA, you'll have to take a couple 3 or 4 level math or engineering courses, but you won't have to take a couple 3-4 level humanities courses. It probably doesn't matter when you switch, but it won't hurt to do it early. Like I said, depends on your school. Check with your department or advisor.
