altairpilot Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I'm having an incredibly hard time understanding the concept of branes. Kaku theorized that in hyperspace there are multiple universes which result from the collisions between points on oscillating membranes.. But what are these membranes? How many are there? How many types are there? How many dimensions do they occupy? Why do these collisions produce universes?
iNow Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Hey mate - No need to open multiple threads on the same topic. Just put it in one place. If people know the answer, or know of a way to help you learn more, they will post it... even if you think you've posted to the wrong topic (in that case, it would be best to request a Moderator move it for you). Just don't post the same thing multiple times as different threads. It clutters up the place, and gets on peoples nerves. Take care.
