ajb Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Energy is a property of "stuff". So, as Atheist points out the question is not very well posed. Another point is that having zero energy is not quite the same as having no energy. My example, the vacuum of a supersymmetric theory has zero energy. If the supersymmetry is broken, then it has a positive non-zero energy.

Maybe someone is able to help me phrase the question better, then I can post it as a new thread. I asked the question in that manner only because the results of an earlier attempt suggested it's better phrased this way.
