ydoaPs Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 it seems like a simple question, but has proven in the past not to be. my question goes like this: "what is your favorite primetime cartoon?" I just realized that all of the choices (exept for "other") are made by the same person.
jordan Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I've got to stick with the classic: Simpsons. I wasn't aware family guy was made by the same guy as the other two.
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 They are all owned by Fox, but Family Guy is made by Seth McFarlane, not Matt Groening.
ydoaPs Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 ok, but I think Fox sold Family Guy and Futurama
ydoaPs Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 i wasn't sure bcuz Foz stopped showing them both and they are on Cartoon Network. i actually saw Family Guy on TBS yesterday
atinymonkey Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I almost went for 'Family Guy' then I suddenly remembered Monkey Dust.
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 TBS will have paid Fox for the rights to show the episode. Fox are both a studio and a network iirc. They both own and air the shows.
-Demosthenes- Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I like the family guy where he beats the chicken up who gave him a bad cupon .
Sayonara Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 I almost went for 'Family Guy' then I suddenly remembered Monkey Dust[/url']. That's not prime time you big cheat.
ydoaPs Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 What's "Monkey Dust" about? I have never heard of it.
ydoaPs Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 the episode with "Petoria" is better in my opinion. "I was gonna call it 'Peterland', but thats the name of the gay bar down the street." (or something to that effect)
atinymonkey Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 What's "Monkey Dust" about? I have never heard of it. I left a link on my first post, but here it is again That's not prime time you big cheat. Well, it's 9ish. That's sort of prime. Kind of. Almost.
-Demosthenes- Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Family Guy and Futura aren't primetime either are they? There only on cartoon network at night on adult swim. Do they show them anywhere else?
ydoaPs Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 TBS. but they stared out primetime, thats y they r called primetime cartoons
