hipolito201 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 I am having some trouble with this question. To solve the problem below, you must write clear and convincing justification for accepting one of the possible answer choices as best or most appropriate and for rejecting each of the other choices as less appropriate. Your reasons for rejecting choices are just as important as your reasons for choosing the best answer. 1. Although water is a small molecule, it has some properties characteristic of a large molecule. Why isn't this behavior a contradiction? a. Hydrogen bonds between molecules last only for a very short period of time. b. The small water molecules for hydrogen bonds between many individual molecules. c. Compared to other substances, water has a high heat of vaporization and specific heat. d. Water is a polar molecule and is a good solvent of ionic substances. e. Since the water molecule is composed of only three atoms, it is relatively small compared to other biological molecules.

So, is this a homework question or something that needs a complete answer?
hermanntrude Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 hipolito, read the rules about homework help. Also read the forum rules. Don't duplicate your posts, and at least try to do some of the work in your answer. For a question like this it's hard for us to help you unless you tell us at least what you're thinking for the answer.
