Guest Navic Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 What is the maximum temperature a kiln dried piece of clay can take without any faults? What is the firing process to get the clay to withstand the temperature in the first question? How can I prevent faults in clay before the firing process? Thanks guys
YT2095 Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 that really all depends on the clay, it`s composition, particle size, compression etc... making sure there`s no air pockets in it would be a good start, as that`s the cause of the majority of faults in a finished product.
