Christian Feldm Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 "Nowbody understands quantenmechanics" Richardt P. Feynman Not that The problems with the wave particle dualism only ocur when jou think of "real materia " , with the mathematic model of QM there are no problems-so why not give up a real world, think that it`s all mathematics , perhaps in the mind of GOD and no real world and no real universe has ever existed ! Such crazy thinks as menkind and the universum DO NOT EXIST its all a great but wounderful imagination ! See also the Philosopher Descartes :I think , so I am !
ajb Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I think you are saying that as the theory of quantum mechanics gives good agreement with nature one should not be worried about interpretations and similar such as wave-particle duality. I am certainly not against such a view point. Largely I support it.
theoriginal169 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Richardt P. Feynman is one of my favorite scientist you shuold read his book its pretty funny.
ydoaPs Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 See also the Philosopher Descartes :I think , so I am ! Descartes walks into a bar. The bartender asks him if he wants a beer. Descartes says 'I think not' and promptly disappears.
J.C.MacSwell Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Descartes walks into a bar. The bartender asks him if he wants a beer. Descartes says 'I think not' and promptly disappears. So...what were his new coordinates?
