Freeman Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 What is exactly philosophy? How would one write philosophical manuscripts?
admiral_ju00 Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 "Always remember, a cat looks down on man, a dog looks up to man, but a pig will look man right in the eye and see his equal. " ---Winston Churchill
Tesseract Posted July 24, 2004 Posted July 24, 2004 Look at this link its very interesting philosophy about immortality. http://www.iep.utm.edu/g/gehong.htm#Immortality
NavajoEverclear Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 philosophy is crap. its a waste of time on ideas that will never be applied. for some people its fun. it began disgusting me a long time ago.
admiral_ju00 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Not really. Philosophy is still an important part in many of the things that we do. Some of the things that Aristotle philosophized are still under heavy debate. Basically, you might want to read up on Aristotelian philosophy to get an idea of what it is and how to think and write philosophically. I myself can't bear reading his stuff. It angrifyes me for some reason.
matter Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Philosophy is just one aspect of life that allows us to be humans. I like philosophy and I like having philosophical discussions, just not retarded ones.
