Have a look here. There's no set way of doing it really, you just need to look up a name and see which one fits best.

One last thing, I have a classical Latin-English dictionary, where would I get one which has modern Latin words? Is there one online?

Remember, Latin is (to all extents and purposes) a dead language. You're not likely to find many (if any) modern words.

Oh, yeah, defintaley (spel?); however, remember that philosophers have been keeping it alive until only a few centuries a go. I wanted to know if anyone has a list of words the philosophers added on to the classical latin.

I would assume the answer is "probably not"; your best bet is probably to do a google.
