larrymac Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Dark Matter Theory by Larry McCarthy Dose it take twice as much fule to navigate through Dark MATTER ? I"m facinated by the subject ; DARK MATTER. I think I know what produces "DARK MATTER" at -272 degrees (kelvin) or absolute 0 the coldness of space is the "MEDIUM"to Dark Matter. "DARK MATTER" is "FROZEN COMPACTED ATOMS" Also , the inferred tellescope registerds "DARK MATTER" as a "DENSE OBJECT" but the dense object is "FROZEN COMPACTED ATOMS" compacted by the cold. sincerly, thank you very much Larry McCarthy 01-28-10
the tree Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Well, this isn't news and should be moved to Speculations. Anyway, AFAIK individual atoms don't get smaller at lower temperatures. Also, there is plenty dark matter in warm-ish areas of space like Earth and around the Sun.
Klaynos Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Space is not at 0K. One of the features of dark matter is that it is well dark, it doesn't interact strongly with EM meaning that things like IR telescopes cannot image it.
the tree Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 The average temperature of space is about 2.75K but when I was little I got to visit the coldest place in the recorded universe, even then I don't think the experiments had anything to do with dark matter.
