ajb Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 It can be found here. Anyone well on their way to become a bad theorist?
liarliarpof Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Huzzah! (Reminiscent of a recurring skit on early SNL- 'Bad Theatre', hosted by Dan Ackroyd.). To paraphrase Einstein, 'When I set out to solve a problem, the first 99 attempts are usually wrong. If I am lucky, the hundredth one may be correct'.
Bob_for_short Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I am certainly a bad physicist, at least in the following sense: I cannot explain even simple things. What is evident to me is not evident to others and I always run on misunderstandings.

I think it is the attitude of how you approach a problem and ones willingness (or not) to engage other experts in the field that makes you a good or bad physicist.
