ObsebyPek Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Guys just received it so prepare yourselves There is a possibility that by the end of this week, snow could be on the ground in every state. That list included Hawaii and Florida for states with snow. The fact there could be snow in Hawaii has been on many internet surfers' minds today. Arkansas Matters said that there was snow on some of the mountain tops of Hawaii. Florida is currently the only state without snow on the ground. A student of NOAA's National Severe Storms Laboratory in Oklahoma is trying to get photos of all the states with snow in it right now.
Sisyphus Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 There's always snow in Hawaii in winter on mountaintops. Mauna Kea, the biggest mountain on the island of Hawaii, literally means "white mountain" for this reason.
bascule Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I live in Colorado. You people all suck. We've probably had a good 5 snowstorms this year with 15+ inches of snow.
Moontanman Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 We are supposed to get snow tonight, it's been more than a decade since we got any real snow, 30 years ago with a very similar weather pattern we got 24" nothing like an ocean effect blizzard in the deep south at the beach! lightning and thunder and gale force winds and 24" inches of snow and they didn't predict it all , it was a complete surprise, at least this time they are tentatively saying it will snow.
CaptainPanic Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Have a lol cat... and all our snow. I don't need it.
