Today through the 28th were having a school wide election. I have a feeling that even here in that Kerry will take the school. The rival school will probably go Bush however. I dunno really. I was the second person to vote - good thing for secret ballots

Gee, in Beverly Hills, I'd expect Kerry to win by a landslide.

lol, you'd be suprised by the debate that students get over the elections. No formal debates, its just "well your candidate is stupid", and "yours is a flip flop!!"..."YO MAMA!!!"

But you will admit that some people that support Kerry (or maybe just hate Bush) are terrorists.

Try as I might.....I just dont quite get this. By terrorists do you wish this interpreted by the definition in the dictionary? Or are you attempting to get a rise out of someone?

By definition both candidates will have a certain number of terrorist followers, Bush from the Christian hardcores, and Kerry from the Tree huggers.( I really hate using those terms) But literally anyone with a following will have extremists in the flock.

The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.

Winston Churchill

John Kerry and George W. Bush are 10th cousins, and both was members of Skull and Bones.

I voted Kerry via absentee in South Carolina. Bush will win with a good margin electorally, but the popular vote will be close.

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's coming right down to the wire (depending on which news station you're watching :) ) Who's winning @ this point? Who do you think will win what? and what do you think will happen if Bush doesnt win Florida or Ohio?

bush is leading in the popular vote as well as in the electoral vote. looks likes hes going to win

Yea... as of this post bush is up by 43 EV and 9% PV

That's not what they are reporting here. The exit poll forcasts are claiming that Ohio and Penn will go to Kerry, most probably giving him the win.

Is anyone out there as supprised as I am on how much Bush is winning at this point? Do you really think with these results that there will be a recount? Wow, Im looking at CNN, FOX, and NPR, and they all show the same results. That's a pretty wide spectrum, from Fox to NPR, and still Bush continues to lead. What does everyone think about this? (Oh, and if I hear- "Americans are just plain stupid", you might find yourself staring down the face of a 10-15 page kritic on stereotypes :D )

thats with CA, so it could be, but I wouldnt jump to conclusions at this point. Bush still leads by a bit, so there actually could be a recount. Crossing my fingers to make this go as smoothly as possible :)
