Zone Ranger Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 anyone know any good books on general chemistry.
Primarygun Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 how about the "Introductory of Chemistry"? That book with a lot of 3D molecules
chemistry Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 I recommend, Chemistry by Raymond Chang...any of the editions. Search for it on ebay, I bought mine for seven dollars.
Johnny_Pencilface Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Best all-round chemistry textbook in my opinion is Chemistry: An Integrated Approach by Housecroft & Constable (ISBN: 0-582-25342-X). Not at all pretentious and a very easy-to-follow text. Designed for first year undergraduates but I believe many non-undergraduates could understand it.
