Have your teachers taught you about the mod and absolute value?

I want to know whether I will come across with the lessons of these skills.

Not much skill involved in absolute vale and mod.........of course it is taught in school (primary school !!!)

However, I think there are many usage of mod.

Also, the prove is not very easy as well.

Absolute values were taught to me at A-level. I never learnt any modular arithmetic until my degree.

i wasnt taught mods at a level either. but i learned it by reading various books. still can't grasp it properly
