Is acid more disorderly than alkali?

Hi:

If all other factors are constant, does a lower pH indicate more entropy than a higher pH?

I ask because chemical reactions that lead to a decrease in order, often increase the acidity of the environment. For example, our consumption of fuel increases the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. This CO2 dissolves in the ocean causing a decrease in the sea's pH.

Thanks,

CO2 makes ocean's acidic because it reacts with the water to form carbonic acid.

The entropy of a system is mainly dependant on the temperature...so if you have two systems (one alkali and one acidic) at the same temperature then the entropy should be about equal.

I say around equal because in order to have one acidic and one alkalie, you would have to add different compounds to each one and these would have different entropies associated with them each.
