Gilded Posted September 20, 2004 Share Posted September 20, 2004 You can distill just about anything that has been fermented (believe me, we Finns have a looong history with that ). Fruits, potatoes, all kinds of stuff. Cherries and grapes are a good choice. Remember: Distill it thrice, and it will taste nice. By the way, the record of percents of commercially sold alcohol is held by Estonia (surprise surprise). They sold 98% distilled from potatoes in the 20's or something.
