Lactate doesn't produce acidosis?

Hello guys,

 

I always thought it did but it seems that it is actually a consequence of acidosis. According to this article http://www.unm.edu/~lkravitz/Article%20folder/lactate.html

 

The article sounds right. So I was thinking the wrong thing all the time.
