I would be more worried for someone who didn't raise the question.

 

I think some questions, like this one, more represents "direction" and "arrow of evolution" rather than an inconsistent state. After all we tend to perceive nature as as succession of moments, each moment encodes the implicit question "what next".

Because of the physical existence combined with conscious awareness.

 

Given that a being were simply a physical organism, it wouldn't question things.

But since the physical organism has consciousness, it has to question whether or not to fight existence as it is.

Thus, this would be a sign of free will within a deterministic system.
